Section 10(b)
Section 10(b) of the Charter guarantees the right to counsel. Nearly a third of wrongful convictions are caused by false confessions, which often occur when people do not know their 10(b) rights.
The 10(b) Collective
Inspired by the Charter, the 10(b) Collective™ is a cause-driven apparel line launched by an award-winning criminal defence lawyer. The aim is to generate conversation about the Charter, empower people to know their rights and reduce the odds of injustice.
A portion of all profits from the 10(b) Collective™ will be donated to non-profit organizations which support the expansion of civil liberties and the exoneration of wrongfully convicted persons, many of whom did not know their rights and lost their freedoms.
April 17 is the anniversary date of the Charter. In celebration, 10(b) will be launching with a limited collection of apparel and accessories.
Made in Canada
10(b) apparel is made (milled, sewn and printed) in Canada.
